Colorado Now

Now being in 2014, you may assume that all conflict with the KKK is gone. This assumption is correct, but we must not forget the events that happened along with this. We must not forget that the KKK once 'ruled' Colorado, taking over most of their government and being most of The House of Representatives. We must not forget their burning of crosses; intimidation of all kinds of people; and two violent acts. We must also remember that because of Stapleton's enforcement towards laws, and keeping everything together there is no more Klan activity. There is no violence, and we have come a long way in almost a century. Mayor Benjamin F. Stapleton did his job.
